Izem Guendoud (b. 1994 in Tizi Ouzou, Algeria) is a semi-nomadic photographic artist currently based in Oakland, California. He is primarily interested in making work inspired by nature and subjects related to man’s primal connection to nature.
Though his work pulls him towards a variety of subjects, he is the most activated by capturing wild landscapes, often spending weeks on the road and in the back country exploring unfamiliar pockets of land that spark curiosity and encourage a deeper understanding of natural history.
